Last week, Prof. Farhad Hafezi, MD, PhD, FARVO, gave a keynote lecture at the International Keratoconus & Corneal Crosslinking Summit 2024, held in Shanghai, China, on the topic of “The Future of Keratoconus Care Without Corneal Transplantation” and a further presentation on “New Approaches to Corneal Cross-Linking: Epi-On CXL at the Slit Lamp and PACE Technique“.
This meant that delegates at the International Keratoconus & Corneal Crosslinking Summit 2024 were able to two presentations on some of the latest techniques that the ELZA Institute’s surgeons and researchers have developed and established at our Swiss clinic.
Prof. Jinhai Huang, the summit’s organizer and the Vice President of Eye Research Institute, Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology, Eye & ENT Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai, said of Prof. Hafezi’s lecture “Your presentation on the PACE cross-linking method generated immense interest among the audience. The academic atmosphere was rich with engaging discussions and enthusiastic participation from attendees,” and “We appreciate your valuable contribution to the success of the event.”
We would like to thank Prof. Huang and the summit’s organisers for their kind invitation and for the opportunity to present ELZA’s work at the summit.
