This year’s Winter ESCRS 2024, held in the Frankfurt Messe, had several of ELZA’s surgeons and researchers serving in several important capacities during the meeting.
ELZA’s consultant cornea surgeon, Dr. Dr. Lamis Baydoun will, on Friday, be chairing the Free Paper Session: Varia – Cornea, in Hall 5 at the Frankfurt Messe between 12:30 – 13:30. Later, our cornea, cataract and refractive surgeon, Dr. Dr. Emilio Torres-Netto will chair the Free Paper Session – Anterior Segment Imaging & Others.
Prof. Farhad Hafezi, as a Board Member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, will be participating in several ESCRS-related items of business, but in terms of the academic sessions, will present on Saturday at 08:20 in Spektrum 1, “CXL + keratoconus: comparing the biomechanical effect and demarcation line depth of epi-on and accelerated epi-off CXL protocols”, then later Co-Chair the second Moderated Poster Session on Saturday in Hall 5 at 14:00 – 15:00.
